Teen Girl Magazine SUSIE Launches Despite Print Magazine Industry Decline

Despite All Indicators Pointing to the So-Called Demise of the Print Industry, SUSIE Magazine Bucks Current Trends by Launching A Print Magazine for Teen Girls.

LENEXA, Kan., May 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Premier Studios announces the launch of a new print magazine, SUSIE. The SUSIE brand will be geared toward teenage girls, and will include a monthly print magazine, a web community, events and other spin-off products of interest to teen girls.

The brainchild of the SUSIE Brand, Susie Shellenberger -- bestselling teen author and former editor of Focus on the Family's Brio Magazine -- inked a publishing deal with Premier Studios in March to collaboratively develop the brand. Shellenberger will oversee content development and culturally relevant focus, while Premier Studios will handle the design, operations, web development, marketing and publicity.

Susie Shellenberger's name is unparalleled in the teen girl market. With more than 20 years' experience publishing Brio magazine, and more than 1.5 million books sold in this market, Susie is a recognized expert in reaching this particular market segment. Shellenberger's notoriety coupled with the affinity brand marketing expertise of Premier Studios creates a unique partnership opportunity.

"Launching a print publication amidst a rapidly declining print industry probably appears precarious to most," said Gerald Smith, President & CEO of Premier Studios. "While we recognize many communication efforts are migrating from printed mediums to the digital space, ignoring the offline initiatives when obvious application and market still exist would limit our ability to build community around the brand."

Covering a variety of topics, the SUSIE Brand will focus on helping teen girls grow as well as provide them with the opportunity to connect with others. "We want to foster a sisterhood where Christian girls can develop spiritually while simultaneously ministering to each other on a peer to peer level," stated Shellenberger. "I've had the incredible opportunity to help motivate and shape an entire generation of girls, and I'm now even more excited about ministering to girls on a new level through SUSIE, both digital and in print."

The first printed issue of SUSIE magazine was released May 1, along with a web presence. The online "SUSIE Sisterhood" brand will build toward an August launch with an all-new web community. Other products associated with the brand are in development now, to be rolled out at a later date. Visit www.susiemagazine.com for additional information.

Furthermore, ways in which companies can best protect their AI related inventions will be examined from both a US and...
The challenges of aggregating data from consumer-oriented devices, such as wearable technologies and smart thermostats, are fairly well-understood. However, there are a new set of challenges for IoT devices that generate megabytes or gigabytes of data per second. Certainly, the infrastructure will have to change, as those volumes of data will likely overwhelm the available bandwidth for aggregating the data into a central repository. Ochandarena discusses a whole new way to think about your next...
