BonzoBox, a social homepage, has revealed its product to the public. The website has previously operated under a hidden beta only available to selected developers.
BonzoBox is an interactive Web tool that allows people to build their own customized "BonzoBox" home page with live thumbnail image links to their favorite websites. Special integrated access to these sites serves as a key component. BonzoBox also offers a specialized email application for users to have complete access to all of their personal email accounts and a BonzoBuddies tab where users can chat and stay in touch with other users. Additionally, the CTO of BonzoBox interacts directly with users. The website operates on a simple drag and drop functionality utilizing all aspects of Web 2.0 and AJAX technology.
BonzoBox was founded in 2007 by a group of entrepreneurs and developers. The team consists of individuals ranging from Stanford's Hasso Plattner Institute of Design to executives such as Steve Ozonian, who currently sits as chairman of the board. 2009 serves to be a defining year for the social homepage as they plan numerous applications and enhancements.
