REDWOOD CITY, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 06/11/08 -- Signature Devices, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: SDVI) is pleased to announce that the Company's wholly owned subsidiary, Graffiti Entertainment, Inc. has launched its new Web 3.0 social networking Web site, www.phatyaffle.com. Phatyaffle is similar to MySpace® but for gamers and game developers. It enables them to network through Web pages and the video games they play, from casual to hardcore gaming. The online venue will also publish software including video games and gaming products.
Phatyaffle provides gamers with a great deal for their money. The gamer can play online tournaments for "Phatty Coins" and exchange those coins for real products. There are also significant discounts for video game console titles published by Graffiti Entertainment and others. Each gamer also gets a set of web pages that they can edit and add content to. The term Web 3.0 is a term that was coined to mean a Web 2.0 Social Network combined with web based E-Commerce. Phatyaffle's mission is to provide a community of gamers and game developers that network and socialize while playing games through Graffiti Entertainment's portal. Signature Devices also provides a development platform for independent game developers. The Company envisions the network as a hub for the different needs and desires of the casual, light and hardcore gamers.
"We envision the site as being a place that gamers can visit to not only play games, but to network with other gamers. The site will also serve as an effective means in which to develop and promote Signature Devices' and Graffiti Entertainment's new game titles, as well as increase revenue for the Company through subscription services, advertising space and royalties," stated Kenneth Hurley, CEO of Signature Devices, Inc. and Graffiti Entertainment, Inc.
