Consumer Cellular Makes Inc. 5000 Fastest Growing Companies List for Sixth Consecutive Year

Consumer Cellular, the number one rated cellphone service and exclusive wireless provider for AARP members, has earned a spot on Inc. Magazine’s 5000 List of Fastest Growing Private Companies in America for the sixth year in a row.

“Every year our company makes the Inc. 5000 list is more rewarding than the last,” said John Marick, Consumer Cellular CEO. “That we’ve continued to grow at a high rate despite becoming a large company is directly attributable to the enthusiasm our customers have for our flexible no-contract plans and phones. Our focus is on keeping the top consumer survey rankings we’ve garnered from our satisfied users, and we believe that will translate into successful growth going forward.”

Consumer Cellular has expanded and grown revenue by 157 percent between 2010 and 2013, and has added 714 jobs over the same time period. Consumer Cellular is the largest private company by revenue in the Pacific Northwest, as well as the sixth largest telecommunications company by revenue, to be recognized on the 2014 Inc. 5000 list.

Complete results of the Inc. 5000, including company profiles and an interactive database that can be sorted by industry, region and other criteria, can be found at www.inc.com/inc5000/list.

Final selection of the Inc. 5000 companies takes place after extensive screening and interviews by reporters and writers for Inc.com.

Buildings are a pool of ever-changing performance data from large automated systems such as heating and cooling to the people that live and work within them.
