First-of-Its-Kind Service Allows Tech Savvy Prospects to Quickly Find Tailored Listings That Match Their Requirements

AUSTIN, TX -- (Marketwired) -- 07/28/14 -- RealMassive, the first source for real-time commercial real estate information, today announced the launch of CRENow™, a first of its kind Twitter syndication service that allows commercial real estate (CRE) professionals to syndicate all commercial real estate listings across Twitter. The new service allows CRE professionals to greatly extend the reach of their commercial real estate listings deep into the core demographic qualified to lease commercial space and tailor listings through keywords and hashtags specific to CRE searches. As a result, millions of qualified CRE tenants now have the easiest way possible to browse and discover ideal spaces available at any given time. The service rolls out in Austin, Texas this week before going nationwide.

Standard use of the organic listing service is free and allows RealMassive users to instantly tweet available space with the key information prospective tenants need optimized within the listing. This makes it possible for prospective tenants to quickly access details that inform their decisions including square footage, rate, sub-market, photos and a link to the space on RealMassive's website. For an additional cost, CRE professionals can also promote their listings, which allows them to elevate the exposure of listings on Twitter.

"CRENow™ is the ultimate listing service for an amazing breed of companies that are becoming today's most coveted tenants, including the 17 companies we support in Austin alone," said Brett Hurt, founder of Bazaarvoice, Coremetrics and Hurt Family Investments, which is an investor in RealMassive. "These companies are very ambitious, growing market by market and increasingly run by digital natives who expect to find what they are seeking across the devices and channels they engage with every day. It's not in their DNA to drive by a building to see if it has an 'Available' sign on it because it's a waste of time and money. Now, they can simply search a term like #DowntownOfficeSpace and instantly pull all available office spaces for lease in their desired locations and opt in to receive a push notification whenever a new space that matches their requirements becomes available."

Joshua McClure, CEO and Founder of RealMassive, said, "We are very excited to launch CRENow as another valuable way to help those listing and seeking available commercial office space to connect quickly and efficiently. Twitter was a natural channel extension of RealMassive's services as it allows for the most accurate, searchable availability data in real-time via the most interactive, in-the-moment channel out there."

Sam Decker, former Founder and CEO of Mass Relevance, said, "Today's economy requires businesses to leverage social media to maximize both their efficiency and scale. RealMassive's recognition of how CRE pros can put Twitter to use to extend the reach and targeting of their listings in a way historically impossible is a key example of the right way to drive social ROI."

"What RealMassive is doing is nothing short of groundbreaking for the industry," said Dick Anderson, Partner at HPI Real Estate Services & Investments. "I expect this Twitter Syndication tool to have a transformative, permanent impact on the industry. The fact that anyone can now simply search for accurate office space listings through Twitter hashtags is a simple but brilliant solution to issues that have long plagued CRE like stale data. I also love the fact that this tool allows me to be constantly connected to my customers on Twitter, one of the most relevant social media channels available."

RealMassive expects CRENow™ to greatly accelerate the listing and leasing of commercial office space. As such, they will monitor the listings and de-listings of available spaces in order to report on the effectiveness of the service. For basic one-to-one voice or video calling solutions, WebRTC has proven to be a very powerful technology. Although WebRTC’s core functionality is to provide secure, real-time p2p media streaming, leveraging native platform features and server-side components brings up new communication capabilities for web and native mobile applications, allowing for advanced multi-user use cases such as video broadcasting, conferencing, and media recording.
IoT generates lots of temporal data. But how do you unlock its value? You need to discover patterns that are repeatable in vast quantities of data, understand their meaning, and implement scalable monitoring across multiple data streams in order to monetize the discoveries and insights. Motif discovery and deep learning platforms are emerging to visualize sensor data, to search for patterns and to build application that can monitor real time streams efficiently. There will be new vendors providing applications, middleware, and connected devices to support the thriving IoT ecosystem. This essentially means that electronic device manufacturers will also be in the software business. Many will be new to building embedded software or robust software. This creates an increased importance on software quality, particularly within the Industrial Internet of Things where business-critical applications are becoming dependent on products controlled by software. In addition to all the benefits, IoT is also bringing new kind of customer experience challenges - cars that unlock themselves, thermostats turning houses into saunas and baby video monitors broadcasting over the internet. This list can only increase because while IoT services should be intuitive and simple to use, the delivery ecosystem is a myriad of potential problems as IoT explodes complexity. So finding a performance issue is like finding the proverbial needle in the haystack.
The Internet of Things will challenge the status quo of how IT and development organizations operate. Or will it? Certainly the fog layer of IoT requires special insights about data ontology, security and transactional integrity. But the developmental challenges are the same: People, Process and Platform. In his session at @ThingsExpo, Craig Sproule, CEO of Metavine, demonstrated how to move beyond today's coding paradigm and shared the must-have mindsets for removing complexity from the develo...

Early adopters of IoT viewed it mainly as a different term for machine-to-machine connectivity or M2M. This is understandable since a prerequisite for any IoT solution is the ability to collect and aggregate device data, which is most often presented in a dashboard. The problem is that viewing data in a dashboard requires a human to interpret the results and take manual action, which doesn’t scale to the needs of IoT.

A critical component of any IoT project is what to do with all the data being generated. This data needs to be captured, processed, structured, and stored in a way to facilitate different kinds of queries. Traditional data warehouse and analytical systems are mature technologies that can be used to handle certain kinds of queries, but they are not always well suited to many problems, particularly when there is a need for real-time insights.
