Esker Expands Its Global Presence with Continued Business Success in Latin America

Esker, a worldwide leader in document process automation solutions and pioneer in cloud computing, is pleased to announce its continued increase in business activity in Latin America. This ongoing maturation and advancement of document process automation in the region represents Esker’s growing global strength as well as its superior business flexibility in adapting to and delivering solutions based on specific regional needs.

“The growing interest in the region for document process automation, specifically on-demand solutions, which outnumber our on-premises implementations in Latin America 2-to-1, is something we’re very excited about as our business opportunities continue to expand,” said Steve Smith, U.S. Chief Operating Officer at Esker. “With strong partner support, multiple projects in progress and new developments coming down the pipeline, 2014 promises to be our most successful year yet in Latin America.”

Austin Powder

With over 180 years of experience as an established provider of blasting products and services, Austin Powder Argentina looked to Esker to modernize its vendor invoicing process. The company leveraged Esker’s cloud-based Accounts Payable automation solution to integrate with its existing SAP® system, eliminating manual processing tasks and supporting Austin Powder’s shared services model.

“Our main goal was to keep growing without adding infrastructure or staff, and Esker helped us accomplish that,” said Pablo Manfredi, CFO of Austin Powder Argentina. “The great thing about Esker is, you don’t have to be a gigantic company to benefit from it. Our footprint is relatively small and we’ve gained enormous value already … with more to come.”

Multiradio S.A.

Multiradio S.A., an Argentina-based telecommunications company, also leveraged Esker’s cloud-based Accounts Payable automation solution to integrate with SAP and automate vendor invoice processing. Lack of process visibility and late payments due to manual processing methods were among the biggest challenges the company was looking to address, and which Esker delivered.

“When we realized our AP process was getting too complex, the goal was to consolidate the process using a cloud solution — Esker had everything we were looking for in terms of SAP integration and workflow,” said Monica Melito, CFO at Multiradio.
