Customer Spotlight: How Keeping Digital Drives Real Estate

 

As a real estate agent, I help clients complement their lives with the ideal property. Often, I imagine the emotional jolt when confirming that the dream home is theirs.  A successful transaction is far more than legalities and signatures: it guarantees that our clients fulfill milestones in their lives.

I practice what I preach and only use the tools that enable success in today’s warp speed market. Today, customers want the real estate experience to match their elation. Naturally, closing a property deal should never be a painful stress due to mountains of paperwork and hours in cold offices. Fortunately, today’s technology includes DocuSign. Now, I wield multiple transactions with ease and finesse. My clients – regardless of age – are increasingly thrilled with the reassurance that they will zip through their real estate transaction with DocuSign without having to physically camp out in my office.

 

The Modern – Mobile -- Real Estate Client

I have a young client for whom I have handled four separate transactions. With the gift of mobile communications and Digital Transaction Management (DTM), my clients never have to interrupt their busy schedules to sign off on a transaction. As they know, I’m armed with DocuSign, which instills trust that we’ll close the deal without hassle.

Our clients are increasingly tech savvy and want a process that screams modern leveraging the tools they already use in their daily lives – namely their mobile devices. DocuSign eliminates the hassles of printing, faxing, scanning, overnighting and driving around town to close real estate deals.

In fact, I’ve measured that about 80% of clients prefer a digital workflow; in all that they master in their jobs and lives, they need mobile flexibility to approve and sign deals. After all, if they can select a home digitally and peacefully, shouldn’t they be accorded the same benefits when closing the deal?

Adapt to Digital Now…You’ll Smile Later – Admittedly daunting, a massive overhaul is needed to keep real estate agents current with the latest mobile technologies and tools such as smartphone and tablets. A study from Realtor.org pointed out that “real estate broker related searches on tablets grew 300% year-over-year.”

 

Knowledge is King – I whole-heartedly encourage you to refresh your industry newsfeed. Follow prolific news sources such as Inman and Mashable for the latest updates so you are well ahead of the curve. Not only will this benefit your awareness of the field, you will draw in clients who look to you as an invaluable real estate information and best practice resource.
