Plexxi Pulse: Looking Ahead to Interop Las Vegas

We’re just two short weeks away from Interop 2014, one of the largest events in the world for the networking industry taking place from March 31st to April 4th in Las Vegas, NV. As expected, SDN is top of mind for the speakers, exhibitors and attendees, with major keynotes dedicated to the subject. I’ll be there along with a few of my Plexxi colleagues, so feel free to shoot me a tweet if you’re interested in catching up (@matmathews).

As far as news for the week, we had a series of great blog posts from our own Mike Bushong equating Uber’s capacity and distribution interface to that of SDN. They are well worth a read – you can check out the first two posts on the subject here and here.

In this week’s video, Dan Backman explains why the Plexxi Pod Switch Interconnect (PSI) looks a bit different from the more traditional Plexxi switch solution.

Below we wrapped up some of the best Twitter chatter in this week’s Plexxi Pulse – enjoy!
