From IT technician to the C-suite

Technology permeates all aspects of an organization. There is a critical need for technology expertise at the executive level of any enterprise, according to Symantec COO Stephen Gillett. Starting as a help desk technician, he eventually landed the CIO title at Starbucks, and ultimately transitioned to his current position at a Fortune 500 technology leader. In "No Limitations: The Need for IT Professionals in the C-suite and Beyond," Gillett will encourage IT professionals to insert themselves into the highest levels of organizations to drive transformation.
