Visible Technologies Empowers Brand and Digital Marketers With New Global Analytics Capabilities

Leading Social Analytics Provider Extends Multi-Lingual Features and Segmentation Categories to Simplify Analysis of Global Reach and Impact on Marketing Results

BELLEVUE, WA -- (Marketwired) -- 03/18/14 -- Visible Technologies, the industry leader in social analytics and engagement for enterprise marketers and agencies, today announced a set of new features to its Visible Intelligence® (VI) platform. These new capabilities enable marketers to quickly search and analyze social data across a variety of languages for a holistic worldwide view of their brand. The new features help marketers improve their go-to-market strategy and digital programs for products and services by quickly identifying key global influencers, global volume of conversations, trends and patterns, and the geo-location of conversations and top websites driving traffic and social buzz.

With brands increasingly relying on social media analytics to inform their marketing strategies and spend, global companies require efficient in-depth views on data that spans various countries, markets and languages. VI's new multi-lingual feature enables marketers to aggregate posts spanning across all designated languages and deliver a consolidated analysis in one single search. The category segmentation options of the new analytics capabilities help with rapid, precise market decisions.

"As social media becomes a go-to channel for customer interaction and support, the need for real-time social analysis of sites like Facebook, Twitter and forums has become imperative," said Richard Pasewark, CEO of Visible Technologies. "Marketers are looking to minimize the time it takes to review their global landscape and quickly analyze what campaign, program or messaging changes are required to meet their business goals in specific geo-locations and languages."

Additional new enhancements include:

  • Faster results: The addition of new category comparisons, word exclusions for prominent terms and Tag Cloud, and the ability to modify multiple filters before executing a search in VI enables even faster results for marketers to respond to the real time opportunities on social media.
  • Time efficiency: The new Persistent Dates feature enables users to apply a date once and use it across multiple search selections. Additionally, marketing campaigns can now be named and saved for quicker and easier historical access and review.
  • Integration and offline analysis: The Visible API now supports categories created within a workspace. The API access allows data, including results spanning across multiple languages, to be available for integration into other systems for planning, marketing and advertising.

The Internet of Things will challenge the status quo of how IT and development organizations operate. Or will it? Certainly the fog layer of IoT requires special insights about data ontology, security and transactional integrity. But the developmental challenges are the same: People, Process and Platform and how we integrate our thinking to solve complicated problems. What are the new priorities for the connected business? First: businesses need to think differently about the types of connections they will need to make – these span well beyond the traditional app to app into more modern forms of integration including SaaS integrations, mobile integrations, APIs, device integration and Big Data integration. It’s important these are unified together vs. doing them all piecemeal. Second, these types of connections need to be simple to design, adapt and configure...
Cell networks have the advantage of long-range communications, reaching an estimated 90% of the world. But cell networks such as 2G, 3G and LTE consume lots of power and were designed for connecting people. They are not optimized for low- or battery-powered devices or for IoT applications with infrequently transmitted data. Cell IoT modules that support narrow-band IoT and 4G cell networks will enable cell connectivity, device management, and app enablement for low-power wide-area network IoT. B...
