The needs of the new business management are making companies turn to new processes, new ways to perform, and enhanced security. The ‘Company of the New Era' is the one that achieves all these effectively ensuring they are able to perform the essential tasks of this new business environment.

Every area of business is involved, and in this new world of connectivity every area affects the others; the mobile users, from sales and marketing for example, need more freedom and Apps in the mobile environment to interact with costumers while performing their tasks. BYOD is undeniable, therefore new security policies are needed to handle the systems that help manage these new activities. Corporate leaderships wants to access real time reports at any moment from any device, so the systems must be agile enough to provide all the needed information for decision making accurately and securely. Things like the remote office and BYOD are everyday activities that extend businesses past the office to other locations, locally, regionally and also globally. According to Gartner, by 2017 mobile Apps will be downloaded 268 billion times and will generate $77 billion of revenue. These numbers turn Apps into one of the most popular computing tools across the globe. Mobile apps are becoming the official channel to drive content and services to clients.

Forrester states that software will account for the largest share of the technology spending in 2014 with $568 billion followed by the IT outsourcing and integration services with $421 billion.

Software ranking first is not a surprise, hence it is the focal point for innovation. This innovation takes the form of mobility and cloud as key technologies, followed by security and the business management. All a part of the new CIOs' challenge.

CIOs dream of a world where they can achieve all the areas needs with technology, where all the processes are automated and all the systems are running and secure in every environment in the network, in the cloud and mobile.

Companies like ConnectWise, LabTech, Quosal, and Autotask have brought this dream to a reality. True business growth comes when the CIO is able to standardize all their systems and the services they provide to the company.

Let's take any everyday situation... Marissa just closed an important deal and she flew to another state for the contract signing meeting as well as the first campaign with the new client. From her new client's office she registered them in the administrative system for invoicing and added them to CRM to make sure they will always have the best costumer care; she did this from her iPad, which by the way is in BYOD format. The entire process was done safely.

She then gets a call, another meeting had just popped up. A client based in other country had an emergency and needed Marissa to help them with a sudden campaign, but she can't travel that fast. So she scheduled an online meeting and just an hour after the client's call they are working out the solution for them. Now we have another satisfied client for both Marissa and the systems supporting all these operation.
