À Davos, les femmes dominent les médias sociaux

Pour la seconde année consécutive, les femmes déléguées assistant à la réunion du Forum économique mondial à Davos sont plus actives que leurs homologues masculins sur les médias sociaux.

WEFLIVE, un site de médias sociaux géré par KPMG International, qui regroupe l'activité sur Twitter de l'ensemble des délégués du FEM, a révélé que, même si les femmes déléguées représentent seulement 15 % du nombre total des délégués du FEM, elles sont responsables de 25 % de l'activité sur les médias sociaux, se classant uniquement en deuxième position pour les « Médias » avec 29 % des voix.

Isabelle Allen, directrice des ventes et des marchés mondiaux chez KPMG, et déléguée au FEM, a déclaré : « Nombre des femmes déléguées que j'ai rencontrées ont exprimé leur souhait d'ouvrir Davos sur l'extérieur, afin d'entamer une conversation plus large sur le programme de Davos, et elles considèrent les médias sociaux comme le meilleur outil pour y parvenir. »

Mme Allen a poursuivi : « Il a été fascinant au cours des derniers jours de voir que les thèmes figurant au programme de la réunion de Davos ont suscité l'intérêt des utilisateurs de médias sociaux dans le monde entier. Le chômage des jeunes, la croissance économique durable, l'inégalité entre les sexes, le Japon, l'Iran et la Syrie ont compté parmi les sujets les plus discutés sur WEFLIVE au cours de la semaine ».
