G-cluster Global Corporation (GCG) announced today that Orange S.A. (Orange) has invested in GCG through a private placement of shares to become a minority shareholder. At the same time, GCG renewed its commercial agreement with Orange for the purpose of enhancing G-cluster technology, and promoting overseas business development.
GCG has been providing Orange TV an IPTV service by Orange, with a cloud gaming service since October 2012. The current transaction will further strengthen the ties between the two companies, facilitating technical development, increased game content, and faster global business development.
Erik Piehl, President and Representative Director of GCG said:
