The SOLdier Shuttles feature live performances from SOL REPUBLIC Saviors of Sound, product giveaways, surprise guest appearances, giant video walls, and multi-million dollar sound systems. It is the only free, reward-filled ride at Ultra.
SOL REPUBLIC provides the SOLdier Shuttle with the belief that every music fan should have a fun, free and safe way to attend their favorite music festival. As festival veterans know, the hardest thing to get during the UMF isn't a ticket to the festival – it's hitching a ride up the stretch from South Beach. With 330,000+ plus fans converging throughout the city, cabs and shuttles are hard to find, inconvenient and crazy expensive.
THE DETAILS:
WHEN: From March 22-24 – the second weekend of the Ultra Music Festival, four (4) tricked-out, enormous buses that riders last year called "a nightclub on wheels" will be providing rides from designated locations throughout South Beach to UMF. Shuttle times and locations are posted at www.SOLREPUBLIC.com/FreeRide.
HOW: Music lovers can register to get on the bus at: www.SOLREPUBLIC.com/FreeRide. Once registered, they can follow @SOLREPUBLIC across Twitter #SOLdierShuttle or get SMS updates via Cel.ly by texting @UltraSOLdier to 23559 for real-time updates on bus locations, who is playing and special VIP bus appearances.
THE ENTERTAINMENT: SOL REPUBLIC will be featuring its Savior of Sound DJs on the ride to keep the party going during the ride. There are expected appearances from Steve Aoki, ETC! ETC!, Disco Fries, Kid Cedek and many more.
On every ride, SOL REPUBLIC will also be giving away headphones, phones, phone battery extenders and prizes including t-shirts, tank tops and sunglasses.
Riders can interact with their favorite DJs, demo SOL REPUBLIC's headphones and power up their cell phones with battery power extenders, which are compatible and will charge every major cell and smart phone.
SOCIAL SHUTTLE: On the bus, riders are encouraged to share content tagging it #SOLdierShuttle, @SOLREPUBLIC to win exclusive rewards. Not able to join the fun in Miami? Fans can also enter to win thousands of prizes across SOL REPUBLIC's social channels following #SOLdierShuttle on Instagram, Twitter and Vine and engaging in the real-time contests on SOL REPUBLIC's Facebook page: www.Facebook.com/SOLREPUBLIC and Twitter feed: @SOLREPUBLIC.
