ATLANTA, GA -- (Marketwire) -- 03/13/13 -- Just in time for St. Patrick's Day, Cinnabon, Inc. has introduced a new minty treat -- the Oreo® Mint Chillatta. The new specialty beverage is available now at participating Cinnabon® bakeries.
This creamy Chillatta is the perfect blend of sweet cream, Oreo cookies, mint flavoring and a ribbon of chocolate sauce, topped with whipped cream and crumbled Oreo cookie pieces.
For a limited time only, the new beverage joins the Cinnabon delicious blended beverage line, Chillattas®. Other fan favorite Chillattas include Strawberry Banana, Tropical Blast ®, Strawberry, Chocolate Mocha, Oreo and the Cinnabon Flavored Coffee Chillatta.
Known and loved around the world for its classic cinnamon rolls, Cinnabon has continued to expand its menu in recent years, continuing product line extensions into indulgent blended beverages and iced coffees.
"We are excited to partner with Oreo -- one of America's-most beloved, iconic brands -- to add a new twist to our popular Chillatta line," said Kristen Hartman, Vice President of Marketing for Cinnabon. "We've taken the Disturbingly Delicious quality of our made-to-order blended beverage line, Chillattas, and combined it with a fan favorite, Oreo cookies, and mint to create the delicious Oreo Mint Chillatta."
Hartman adds, "Product variety and evolution is a driver of expanding the relevance of our brand in our flagship bakeries around the world. While our guests love our world-famous baked goods, anything we make that builds on our expertise in indulgent treats seems to be a hit, so we're introducing great products that highlight our brand as a destination for sweet indulgent moments that are 'so worth it.'"
OREO® is a registered trademark of Mondelēz International group, used under license by Cinnabon, Inc.
