SAN FRANCISCO, March 13, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Jaspersoft, the intelligence inside applications and business processes, today announced that it has been named one of KMWorld's "100 Companies That Matter in Knowledge Management." The list, which was compiled by KMWorld's team of judges, identifies products and services that best meet the needs of the publication's readers and specifically focuses on companies that solve critical business problems.
"It's an honor to be recognized among such a distinguished list of companies in the knowledge management space, and a testament to our vision of providing affordable, powerful analytics to business users as the Intelligence Inside of applications, processes and workflows," said Jim Bell, Jaspersoft Chief Marketing Officer. "This recognition is strong validation for what we believe to be the next big wave of business intelligence solutions: embeddable analytics that can be easily accessed in cloud marketplaces via a utility-based pricing model."
Jaspersoft recently completed a strong fiscal year, with highlights including the release of version 5.0 of the company's business intelligence (BI) platform and the launch of the first utility-based BI server on the Amazon Web Services Marketplace.
"Criteria for inclusion in KMWorld's '100 Companies That Matter in Knowledge Management' varies, but all companies have things in common," said Hugh McKellar, KMWorld Editor-in-Chief. "Each has either helped to create a market, redefine one or enhance one, and they all share two things – the velocity of innovation and the agility to serve their customers."
The complete list of this year's 100 companies is available here.
