LONDON and LOS ANGELES, March 13, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- ThinkAnalytics™, the world's most widely deployed multiplatform TV search and recommendations engine, today announced new executive appointments to the company's executive and North American sales team and a strengthening of its U.S. based resources. Michael Pohl has joined the company as a Member of the Corporate Board of Directors and Strategic Director for Marketing and Business Development, Americas. Nancy Pingitore has been named Vice President of Sales. Additional appointments have also been made in the North American based development and support teams.
Michael will focus on marketing and business development activities in The Americas and provide strategic direction for the company's expansion into new markets. Nancy is charged with overseeing key customer accounts and partnerships throughout the U.S. working closely with Michele McGarry, Vice President of Marketing and Business Development, North America.

Michael Pohl is a 30 year veteran contributing to the cable industry's development and adoption of innovative technology. He is currently Chairman of the Board for BlackArrow, as well as director of Ascent Capital Group Inc. He was previously Non-Executive Chairman of the Board for BigBand Networks and a member of the Canoe Ventures™ advisory board. Michael served as President of the Global Strategies Group at C-COR, Inc. and subsequently served as the Interim Vice President/General Manager of the On Demand Systems Division of ARRIS Group, Inc. Prior to C-COR, Michael was President and Chief Executive Officer of nCUBE, a pioneer in on demand and advertising technology. He also held executive positions at SkyConnect and Douglas Communications. Michael is a recipient of the Vanguard Award, a member of the Cable TV Pioneers and actively involved with CableLabs®, CTAM and NCTA.
Nancy brings 25 years of experience with companies serving the cable and telecommunications industry. Previously, she was Vice President of Distribution for the Tennis Channel where she helped expand the network's carriage from launch to distribution across top MSOs, telco and satellite providers. Nancy was previously Co-Founder and Vice President of Incanta, an advanced media personalization platform for cable operators and broadband providers. She also served as Director of International Business Development at ARRIS, Inc., where she helped build and manage sales channels in South America, producing 70 percent of the company's revenues for its Digital Video Division. Nancy is a recipient of CableFAX 2009 Affiliate Sales Person of the Year Emerging Networks, Honorable Mention and 2008 CableFAX 20 to Watch: Rising Stars in Cable Honoree. She is also Graduate and Member, Advanced Technology Development Center (ATDC).
