SAN DIEGO, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 03/12/13 -- BizWear.biz, an online classified ad service for slightly or never used business attire, has been launched. Designed to help business professionals dress for success, BizWear is now accepting free listings of women's and men's never been worn or gently used clothing, shoes and accessories appropriate to wear in an office or professional social environment.
"How you dress at work can directly impact your professional success," explains Dixie Hall, founder of BizWear. "The problem is good business attire can be expensive." Because these clothes tend to be less trendy and of higher quality, she thought it made sense to recycle them. Hall explains, "Our goal is to make it easy for those who need clothes they don't have, to find those who have clothes they don't need."
By using BizWear, women and men can sell or trade the business attire they no longer use, while those looking to improve their workplace image, can assemble or replenish an impressive wardrobe at a fraction of the cost.
Until June 1, 2013, sellers can advertise pieces for sale free of cost. Listing an item is fast and easy. Sellers simply choose a category to list the item under, enter the item details, upload up to four images of the piece and set their own price point.
Buyers browse for free. The "Pinpoint Search" feature allows buyers to narrow the number of ads they view to only those that meet criteria they choose -- from a variety of options ranging size to only items that still have tags. Buyers may also search for sellers who are willing to trade an item for a professional service (i.e. legal, bookkeeping, social media, etc.) or another piece of attire in lieu of cash.
BizWear.biz does not take any percentage of the sale of any item and there are no charges to the buyers for contacting sellers. As a classified ad service, BizWear is not involved in the payment or delivery of items purchased or sold. Buyers and sellers deal directly with each other.
