CompanionLink swoops in to offer a potent Google Calendar Sync replacement backed by US-based telephone technical support. CompanionLink for Google has supported Google Calendar sync with Microsoft® Outlook® since 2006. Also included is synchronization of Contacts, Tasks, Categories, Birthdays, Alarms, and Free/Busy settings between Gmail and Outlook. People with the new Outlook 2013 version can also use CompanionLink to fix the Gmail integration void left with Google’s deprecation of Exchange ActiveSync®.
“Businesses no longer silo themselves to one technology,” says Wayland Bruns, CTO of CompanionLink Software. “People use Outlook desktop software because it is easier and faster to add and edit data. These same people use Gmail web services because it is accessible on any browser and platform. CompanionLink is the only company to back Outlook to Gmail synchronization with free US-based telephone technical support.”
One license of CompanionLink for Google allows installation on up to three computers and costs just $14.95. CompanionLink provides free technical support by email and telephone, and offers RunStart and Premium Support options for those looking for expert installation. More information can be found at www.companionlink.com/google/outlook/.
