DAVIE, Fla., March 6, 2013 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- In a move that acknowledges the changing online environment, American Auto Move has hired Jeanne Longhorne as the new Lead Content Developer. Ms. Longhorne has longstanding ties to the transport industry and has a proven record of quality content creation, and her addition to the American Auto Move team underscores the importance of value-added content creation in today's online marketplace.
Mr. Bobby Russell, Marketing & Technologies Manager at American Auto Move, believes that the ability for a firm to deliver high-value, high-quality information to it's customers has become and will continue to be essential for online exposure. "If one looks around the online marketplace right today, you'll find unbelievably high-quality content at nearly every turn. Every big firm understands this, and those that can afford to produce it do, because the returns can really be astronomical if it is truly done well."
The addition of Ms. Longhorne to American Auto Move's staff indicates changing attitudes about how to successfully market to search engine users. "Once upon a time, it was relatively easy to get your name up the highest strata of search. For better or worse, those days are over," claims Mr. Russell. "One really needs to deliver value to the user or risk being left in the abyss."
The decision to hire Ms. Longhorne coincides with the creation of American Auto Move's Learning Center - a content initiative designed to produce valuable transport-related content. "We decided that if we were to make a play in the content market, we needed do it right, so we brought in someone who we think can craft the kind of content that our customers are demanding, and can do so consistently."
Ms. Longhorne appears to be uniquely suited to the job. Her parents were owner-operators of their own transport company for nearly 30 years, and Jeanne served the company in several capacities. In addition to her role at American Auto Move, Ms. Longhorne also serves as a consultant to fledgling auto maintainence businesses in the Philadelphia and New York City areas.
