Jasper Wireless recognized by judging panel of leading journalists, analysts, academics
MOBILE WORLD CONGRESS - Barcelona, 4 March 2013 - Jasper Wireless, the leading connected devices platform for machine-to-machine (M2M) and consumer electronics, today announced that it has been recognized by the 2013 Global Mobile Awards judging panel as the Best Cloud Based Technology for Mobile. The awards, a highlight in the mobile industry calendar, took place on Tuesday 26 February at a ceremony in Barcelona attended by influential media, analysts and celebrities. The annual event gives the entire global mobile eco-system the opportunity to showcase the latest and best mobile products, apps and services to the world.
This award validates the commitment by Jasper Wireless to deliver a platform that serves the needs of enterprises—and in doing so, provide its operator partners with a strong differentiated offering for M2M and connected devices. Today more than 2,500 enterprise customers use Jasper's cloud-based platform, taking advantage of its robust functionality to accelerate time to market, maximise revenue, minimise costs, and optimise their businesses.
The judging panel commented: "Jasper's great use of the cloud in machine to machine technology allows mobile operators to truly differentiate themselves in the market."
"Through these awards, we are proud to shine the light on the mobile industry's many innovators and leaders, from all corners of the world," said John Hoffman, CEO, GSMA Ltd. He continued: "This year's new categories reflected the industry's reach into many new sectors and we received more than 600 high-quality entries from across the mobile ecosystem."
"Being recognised this way reflects the positive response we have had from both our operator partners and their enterprise customers across a broad range of industries," said Jahangir Mohammed, CEO at Jasper Wireless. "This award acknowledges our approach, which is continuous innovation to deliver the capabilities enterprises demand to support their constantly evolving needs."
