life:) wurde unter den Top 5 der Auszeichnungen aufgelistet, die im Rahmen der jährlich stattfindenden Preisverleihung des Unternehmens "Microstrategy World" verliehen wurden. An der Preisverleihung nehmen spezialisierte Teilnehmer aus der Business Intelligence-Branche teil.  Die diesjährige 16. Veranstaltung erzielte einen Rekord von 2.500 Teilnehmern, und life:) wurde zu einem der Top 5-Unternehmen in der Kategorie der Unternehmen mit dem am weitesten entwickelten Dashboard erkoren.  Unter den mit life:)insgesamt 87 Wettbewerbern dieser Kategorie wurden die Apollo Gruppe (Bildungssektor), Cheescake Factory (Nahrungsmittelsektor), Pinnaccle Corporation (IT-Sektor) und Generali Employee Benefits Network (Finanz-Sektor) ebenfalls zu den fünf besten Unternehmen gewählt.

2012 rief life:) ein Datenbankprojekt ins Leben, mit dem Ziel, alle Daten des Unternehmens an einem einzigen Ort zusammenzutragen, sie von dort aus unter Gewährleistung der Konsistenz zu verwalten und von dieser einen Quelle aus unter Verwendung der Technologie des US-Unternehmens Microstrategy weiterzusenden. Für die Datenbank des Unternehmens wurde ein Dashboard (Demonstrationstafel) zur visuellen Berichterstattung an das obere Management entwickelt, um diesem den Entscheidungsprozess zu erleichtern und den Berichtsprozess zu automatisieren, indem menschliche Einflüsse ausgeschlossen wurden. Dieses Dashboard ermöglichte es, Daten mithilfe eines Mobilgeräts automatisch über eine einzige Schnittstelle von jedem beliebigen Ort aus abzurufen. Mit diesem Dashboard ist das Vertriebsteam beispielsweise in der Lage, die Verkaufszahlen eines jeden Händlers mit dem Vorteil der Mobilität in Echtzeit nachzuverfolgen. Auch andere Berichte, die vormals einen erheblichen Einsatz an menschlichen Arbeitskräften erforderlich machten, können augenblicklich und automatisch, ganz ohne menschliche Unterstützung, aufbereitet werden.
