E2open (NASDAQ: EOPN), a leading provider of strategic, cloud-based software solutions for collaborative execution across global trading networks, today announced that David Hale and Desikan Madhavanur have been recognized by Supply & Demand Chain Executive magazine as 2013 Pros to Know, a listing of top supply and demand chain industry professionals. The annual list highlights supply chain executives who have demonstrated leadership by managing risk in the supply chain, providing competitive advantage, and delivering value to their company’s bottom line.
"At E2open, I have the opportunity to work with a superb team of innovative, experienced supply chain professionals and leaders,” said Mark Woodward, President and CEO at E2open. “With a combined tenure of nearly 20 years at E2open, David and Desikan continue to make tremendous contributions to the success of our customers and the organization at large. I am pleased to congratulate them as 2013 Pros to Know.”
David Hale currently serves as Chief Information Officer at E2open, where he is responsible for the company’s software-as-a-service operations, IT operations, and global support. Hale joined E2open in 2000, and has more than 20 years of experience in management and operations of high-growth, emerging companies.
Desikan Madhavanur currently serves as General Manager, Products and Product Strategy at E2open, where he is responsible for leading E2open’s product development initiatives, including network monetization, mergers and acquisitions, strategic partnerships, and new product marketing initiatives.
“The efforts that a number of the industry’s leading executives continue to take to improve their business’s functionality and in turn, progress the global supply chain — this was one of the main reasons we started the ‘Pros to Know’ awards in the first place,” said Barry Hochfelder, Editor, Supply & Demand Chain Executive. “It’s not always initially clear as to how broad the scale of the supply chain and its challenges really is. If there are those present in the industry who are working to overcome such issues, and grow the global supply chain at the same time, they should get the recognition they deserve for their achievements.”
The full listing of the 2013 Pros to Know Awards will be available in the March issue of the magazine and on the website at www.sdcexec.com. Supply & Demand Chain Executive is the executive's user manual for successful supply and demand chain transformation, utilizing hard-hitting analysis, viewpoints and unbiased case studies to steer executives and supply management professionals through the complicated, yet critical, world of supply and demand chain enablement to gain competitive advantage.
