AUSTIN, TX -- (Marketwire) -- 02/12/13 -- Spiceworks, the world's largest vertical network for IT, today announced the expansion of its popular Spiceworks Unplugged tour to 12 cities in the United States and United Kingdom from February to September 2013. Additional tour dates and locations will be announced later this year.
Spiceworks Unplugged events feature a live panel of IT decision makers from small and mid-size businesses (SMBs) who help technology marketers understand their purchasing habits, marketing pet peeves, the resources they use to make purchasing decisions, and more. Unplugged events are open to qualified technology marketing professionals at established and start-up technology brands, advertising, media buying, and public relations executives, as well as social media marketing managers.
"I attended Spiceworks Unplugged Chicago in October 2012 and thought the content was great, the insight was extremely valuable, and I actually felt like I was part of the conversation," said Sarah Argue, community manager at MarkITx. "I feel like I could have picked the brains of the three panelists for hours."
