PHD Virtual Technologies, a pioneer in virtual machine backup and recovery, and innovator of virtualization monitoring solutions, announced today the appointment of virtualization and cloud expert, Roger Baskerville, as Vice President of Europe the Middle East and Africa.

Baskerville brings an in-depth understanding of virtualization and cloud solutions from Citrix, Xen, VMware and Microsoft. He has spent much of his career providing sales and leadership to US companies operating in EMEA. He has been a sales director EMEA for Virtual Computer (acquired by Citrix Systems), virtualization consultant for Microsoft, VP EMEA Vizioncore (acquired by Quest), sales director for XenSource (acquired by Citrix Systems), business development manager for Citrix Systems and manager, application partner group for Compaq Computer.
