SEATTLE, WA -- (Marketwire) -- 02/04/13 -- Fisher Communications, Inc. (NASDAQ: FSCI), a leader in local media innovation, announced today its flagship television station, KOMO-TV (ABC) in Seattle finished the January rating period as the number one news station at 4pm, 5pm, 6pm and 11pm in both the 18-49 and the 25-54 demographics.
KOMO 4 News at 4pm doubled the rating of its nearest competitor in Adults 25-54 outperforming "Katie" by 84%. At 5pm KOMO's newscast outperformed its closest competitor by 37% in Adults 18-49 and by 19% in Adults 25-54. It's the second month in a row that KOMO has finished #1 at 5pm in the 25-54 demographic.
