NEW YORK, NY -- (Marketwire) -- 02/04/13 -- SupersonicAds (www.supersonicads.com), the global leader in virtual currency monetization since 2009, announced today its U.S. expansion, opening offices in New York City and Los Angeles. These new outposts will be led by a key new sales hire, John McShea named as Eastern Sales Director and by current employee, Michael Brown, Head of Brand Sales, West Coast, respectively. Headquartered in London, SupersonicAds provides brands with premium access to social gaming audiences with cross-platform solutions enabling consumers the opportunity to earn virtual currency for free by completing targeted offers, watching branded video ads, and engaging with leading brands.
With offices already in Silicon Valley, SupersonicAds has invested significantly in expanding in North America and securing top talent over the past year. Under the leadership of Gil Shoham, who recently relocated to San Francisco in support of the expansion, the company has increased its workforce 100% in the last three years to drive cross-platform in-game advertising solutions, leading to remarkable year on year growth.
SupersonicAds CEO, Gil Shoham explains, "We have been working with U.S.-based advertisers like adidas, Dove, Kellogg's, Disney, and Coca-Cola for several years and so opening offices in New York and Los Angeles was a very natural move for us. We are now ideally situated to provide even better support to our existing U.S.-based clients and capitalize on new revenue opportunities, coast-to-coast and internationally."
With a focus on brand sales solutions in the U.S., McShea is leading SupersonicAds' East Coast expansion and will operate out of New York City. McShea joins from Tremor Video where he was Sales Director, and has held positions at ScanScout (acquired by Tremor Video), VideoEgg (currently Say Media) and BusinessWeek. He brings with him more than 20 years of experience in media and 10+ years management experience leading high-performance sales teams in extremely competitive markets.
Brown, an employee with SupersonicAds since 2010, will lead West Coast sales operations focused on developing the relationship between Facebook social game publishers and leading entertainment brands. Brown brings more than 17 years of media experience and has consulted on social gaming strategy for Fortune 500 brands such as Disney, Fox, Vodafone, Warner Bros, Hasbro, Intel and Coca Cola.
"SupersonicAds already reaches audiences in over 200 countries in Europe, Asia and Latin America with effective engagement solutions across desktop and mobile that other networks haven't tapped into. This means that for large U.S.-based brands, we offer a huge opportunity for extending global reach across both desktop and mobile. John and Michael will be instrumental in strengthening our already formidable sales structure across the U.S.," Shoham concluded.
