REDWOOD CITY, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 02/01/13 -- YuMe, a leading provider of digital video brand advertising software and services, today announced the appointment of Chris Paisley to the company's board of directors. Paisley currently serves on the boards of Equinix, Fortinet, Ambarella, Volterra Semiconductor and Bridge Capital Holdings, and brings strong financial and technology experience to YuMe.
Paisley is currently the Dean's Executive Professor of Accounting at the Leavey School of Business at Santa Clara University. "Chris is one of the best leaders in the business and we're thrilled to welcome someone of his caliber to the team," said Jayant Kadambi, CEO, YuMe. "With Chris' expertise in finance and technology, he will be a great asset to our board."
Paisley's experience also includes tenure as Senior Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer with 3Com Corporation. During his 15 years at 3Com, the company grew from $50 million in annual sales to nearly $6 billion annually. Prior to 3Com, Paisley served as Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer of Ridge Computers, a scientific workstation manufacturer, and earlier held a variety of accounting and finance positions with Hewlett-Packard. He was also previously on the board at both Electronics for Imaging from 2004 until 2008, and at 3PAR from 2006 until 3PAR's acquisition by Hewlett-Packard in 2010.

Paisley holds a Bachelor's degree in business economics from the University of California at Santa Barbara and an M.B.A. from the Anderson School at the University of California at Los Angeles.
