“Kaazing has an exciting vision of the future where companies can always be connected to their employees, partners and customers via a live, real-time, connected online world,” said Sheila Dahlgren, CMO and Vice President, Kaazing. “The company founders pioneered the HTML5 WebSocket standard and built an enterprise-grade live web and mobile communications platform that has transformed the traditional static web capability into a dynamic data and web communication experience enabling, for the first time, a truly open, real-time, modern web community. Because Kaazing is built on an open standard, and not a closed one, there is a huge demand for what they are offering. They are poised for exponential growth.”
With more than 15 years of B2C and B2B software product management and marketing experience, Dahlgren joins Kaazing having successfully co-founded profitable SaaS start-up Scene7, which was acquired by Adobe. She successfully integrated the Scene7 team into Adobe where she spent four years before joining Kaazing. Prior to Scene7, Dahlgren ran global marketing for a product software line at Mattel and held the position of Senior Marketing Director at Broderbund Software where she managed various product lines. Sheila was also Marketing Manager for Clorox and a CPA at KPMG earlier in her career.
“Sheila joins the Kaazing team at a very exciting time for the company as our live web and mobile communication platform continues to gain traction both within innovative startups and enterprises,” said John Donnelly III, Executive Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Business Development, Kaazing. “Sheila’s experience will add great strength to the company. Her proven track record, dedication, talent and leadership will be a tremendous asset to Kaazing and its future.”
