Zodiac Pool Systems, Inc. Restructures Rebate Programs For Consumers To Support Dealers

"Get Rewarded" tiered rebate program offers rebates based on sales price

SAN DIEGO, Jan. 23, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Zodiac Pool Systems, Inc. has launched its new "Get Rewarded" rebate program for consumers who purchase Polaris® and Zodiac® branded automatic pool cleaners. This program, the largest consumer rebate program in the industry for automatic pool cleaners, will provide a strong incentive for pool owners to purchase the best selling cleaners throughout the 2013 peak pool season and will drive sales for dealers while protecting margins and enhancing brand credibility.

Under a tiered rebate schedule consumers will have the opportunity to earn a larger rebate based on higher net prices paid for cleaners within any of the following categories: suction, pressure or robotic, under both brand names. Zodiac's tiered program will provide a compelling enticement to support sales for all dealers across the industry while maintaining the value of Zodiac brands. Local pool companies that invest in providing service and education can leverage the tiered rebates in their stores to be more competitive in their local markets.

Qualifying cleaner models for the full in-season rebate include:

Suction cleaners

  • Zodiac T5 Duo®
  • Zodiac MX8™

Pressure cleaners

  • Polaris 360
  • Polaris 360 Black Max™
  • Polaris 380
  • Polaris 3900 Sport

Robotic cleaners

  • Polaris 9300 Sport / P93
  • Polaris 9300xi Sport
  • Polaris 9400 Sport / P94

The tiered schedules will go into effect starting in late January at an off-season rebate level for select cleaners (Zodiac T5 Duo and MX8, Polaris 3900 Sport) through March 31, 2013.  The full rebate program supporting in-season rebates will take effect from April 1 through Sept. 2, 2013, including the Labor Day holiday. Current rebate amounts are available on the company's website.  All rebates, paid as a VISA® Rewards card, must be requested via mail-in form with the original UPC code as proof of purchase within 30 days of product purchase.

According to Michelle Kenyon, vice president of marketing at Zodiac, the company is again taking a leadership position to support its retailers. "Zodiac invests millions of dollars each year in marketing and consumer rebates to drive a call-to-action and provide our dealers with promotional leverage throughout the year. Here again, we are leading the pool industry in being the first manufacturer to offer a tiered rebate structure that provides value for all consumers and equity for all dealers. We have received overwhelmingly positive feedback and support from the industry for this enhancement to an already very successful program."

Zodiac delivers best-in-class, national marketing, customer service, and media campaigns to drive sales. In 2013, Zodiac is revitalizing its Polaris Days and Zodiac Days promotional events that combine manufacturers' rebates with local level store expertise and promotions. The rebate program will support unique promo codes to enhance Polaris Days, Zodiac Days, and other special events during the year. These events will be added to other programs including print and online advertising, direct mailers, PR, social media, and in-store merchandising.  Zodiac has previously expanded its customer support to provide live chat and regional teams that meet the needs of both dealers and consumers.

When shopping for a new data processing platform for IoT solutions, many development teams want to be able to test-drive options before making a choice. Yet when evaluating an IoT solution, it’s simply not feasible to do so at scale with physical devices. Building a sensor simulator is the next best choice; however, generating a realistic simulation at very high TPS with ease of configurability is a formidable challenge. When dealing with multiple application or transport protocols, you would be...
Detecting internal user threats in the Big Data eco-system is challenging and cumbersome. Many organizations monitor internal usage of the Big Data eco-system using a set of alerts. This is not a scalable process given the increase in the number of alerts with the accelerating growth in data volume and user base. Organizations are increasingly leveraging machine learning to monitor only those data elements that are sensitive and critical, autonomously establish monitoring policies, and to detect...

Organizations planning enterprise data center consolidation and modernization projects are faced with a challenging, costly reality. Requirements to deploy modern, cloud-native applications simultaneously with traditional client/server applications are almost impossible to achieve with hardware-centric enterprise infrastructure. Compute and network infrastructure are fast moving down a software-defined path, but storage has been a laggard. Until now.

Digital Transformation is much more than a buzzword. The radical shift to digital mechanisms for almost every process is evident across all industries and verticals. This is often especially true in financial services, where the legacy environment is many times unable to keep up with the rapidly shifting demands of the consumer. The constant pressure to provide complete, omnichannel delivery of customer-facing solutions to meet both regulatory and customer demands is putting enormous pressure on...
IoT is at the core or many Digital Transformation initiatives with the goal of re-inventing a company's business model. We all agree that collecting relevant IoT data will result in massive amounts of data needing to be stored. However, with the rapid development of IoT devices and ongoing business model transformation, we are not able to predict the volume and growth of IoT data. And with the lack of IoT history, traditional methods of IT and infrastructure planning based on the past do not app...
"Akvelon is a software development company and we also provide consultancy services to folks who are looking to scale or accelerate their engineering roadmaps," explained Jeremiah Mothersell, Marketing Manager at Akvelon, in this SYS-CON.tv interview at 21st Cloud Expo, held Oct 31 – Nov 2, 2017, at the Santa Clara Convention Center in Santa Clara, CA.
More and more brands have jumped on the IoT bandwagon. We have an excess of wearables – activity trackers, smartwatches, smart glasses and sneakers, and more that track seemingly endless datapoints. However, most consumers have no idea what “IoT” means. Creating more wearables that track data shouldn't be the aim of brands; delivering meaningful, tangible relevance to their users should be. We're in a period in which the IoT pendulum is still swinging. Initially, it swung toward "smart for smart...
IoT is rapidly becoming mainstream as more and more investments are made into the platforms and technology. As this movement continues to expand and gain momentum it creates a massive wall of noise that can be difficult to sift through. Unfortunately, this inevitably makes IoT less approachable for people to get started with and can hamper efforts to integrate this key technology into your own portfolio. There are so many connected products already in place today with many hundreds more on the h...
