NEW YORK, Jan. 17, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Finn Partners, recently named best new agency and one of the fastest-growing independent public relations firms, today announced it has been retained by Fujitsu America, Inc., the wholly owned subsidiary of Fujitsu Limited, as Agency of Record following a competitive review.
Fujitsu is the leading Japanese information and communication technology (ICT) company offering a full range of technology products, solutions and services, with more than 170,000 employees supporting customers in more than 100 countries. Fujitsu Limited (TSE: 6702) reported consolidated revenues of $54 billion (4.5 trillion yen) for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2012.
The assignment is being led by Carol Edwards, partner, with teams in Finn Partner offices in New York, San Francisco and Canada. Finn Partners will work with Fujitsu to further expand the reach of its comprehensive service, consulting and product portfolio including its innovative cloud and retail solutions in the North American market.
"As a global leader in ICT, Fujitsu partners with customers to help them sell more, save money and reduce risk by delivering capabilities that are critical for building an enduring business – one focused on delighting our customers' customers," said Tracy Weller-McCormack, vice president of Marketing. "We are excited to collaborate with Finn Partners on new ideas, executive programs and campaigns that convey this commitment, differentiating our value in the marketplace and deepening our relationships with customers."
Among the selection criteria, Fujitsu required a partner with expertise in executive visibility programs, established contacts with top media influencers, and a deep understanding of the information and communications technology sector in the U.S. and Canada. As important, they wanted a firm with an appreciation of and sensitivity to its human-centric vision, which highlights the company's commitment to developing new technologies that improve society, making people's lives easier and more rewarding.
"Being selected to represent Fujitsu, one of the world's largest technology companies, is a tremendous honor for the agency and a testament to our longstanding track-record of driving awareness and thought leadership for our clients in the tech sector," said Peter Finn, founding partner, Finn Partners. "We are thrilled to begin a partnership with Fujitsu in North America, and through joint collaboration look forward to delivering exceptional campaign results for the company's key strategic initiatives."
