CORONA, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 01/10/13 -- Dr. Christopher Chung, a board-certified plastic surgeon in Riverside, performs his surgical procedures in his state-of-the-art operatory suite. Renaissance Aesthetic Surgery's brand new facility is fully accredited by the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities (AAAASF), certifying the center as a provider of the highest level of patient care.
At Renaissance Aesthetic Surgery, patients can choose among a wide variety of cosmetic procedures ranging from breast augmentation to eyelid surgery. In building the surgical facility, Dr. Chung set out to provide patient convenience and privacy while prioritizing safety. He says he is dedicated to offering patients a comfortable experience, personal attention, and optimal results.
According to Dr. Chung, among the many benefits of the on-site surgical facility are:
- Entire surgical process can be performed at one facility
- Doctors have full control over the operational aspects of the surgeries
- Added patient comfort and convenience because patients do not need to go to multiple facilities, meet new people and develop a new relationship before their surgery
- Everyone on the team knows and understands the needs of patients from start to finish
Many freestanding surgical facilities house a variety of doctors focusing on different disciplines -- including urology, orthopedic, and podiatric -- who share the same space. In Dr. Chung's opinion, the degree of specialization required for cosmetic surgery patients and their specific needs are not met as well at these types of facilities. While these freestanding centers operate as more of an independent institution, Dr. Chung's surgery center is part of his office.
At Renaissance Aesthetic Surgery, Dr. Chung's Riverside plastic surgery practice, Dr. Nancy Chung serves as the Director of Perioperative Services, and personally oversees every patient's perioperative care, including recovery after a surgical procedure. Only board-certified anesthesiologists administer anesthesia and patients of Renaissance Aesthetic Surgery are supported by well-trained surgical staff members and board-certified physicians.
