As Belgium's leading Energy Service Company (ESCO), Cofely Services has more than 1,500 customers ranging from small businesses to large organizations and industrial customers operating commercial facilities and multiple sites. Elster EnergyICT's powerful EIServer™ cloud-based platform enables Cofely Services to collect, cleanse, analyze and interpret all energy-related data and provide a range of energy management, monitoring and targeting services designed to substantially reduce its customers' energy and water consumption. Cofely Services will also use Elster EnergyICT's submeters and data loggers to collect multiple energy, usage and meter inputs.
"We are experiencing high demand for energy management services in Belgium and required a robust solution that would enable us to standardize and enhance our energy management portfolio and continue to meet our stringent contractual commitments to customers," said Jean Delobel, Energy Manager, Cofely Services. "We chose Elster EnergyICT because of its market-leading position, demonstrable track record in delivery and extensive industry experience and support capability. The feedback from our customers has been very positive so far and we have been able to detect and resolve a number of problems much quicker using the EIServer™ platform. Working with Elster EnergyICT not only enables us to help our customers control their energy costs in the face of rising energy prices, but means we are ideally positioned to benefit from Smart Metering incentives moving forward."
EIServer™ includes eiPortal, a fully-configurable energy monitoring tool that enables Cofely Services to take raw consumption data and create sophisticated reports and comparative performance indicators for energy usage. The company will be able to track its customer's projects, monitor efficiency gains and measure KPIs in consumption, CO2 emissions, costs and savings from the previous day, week or month. The solution is also capable of benchmarking across multiple sites through the eiDashboard module.
"We have a fast-growing list of ESCO partners throughout the world and are delighted to further strengthen our relationship with a recognized market leader such as Cofely Services," said Spencer Rigler, Vice President Energy Management for Elster EnergyICT. "Our EIServer™ solution provides a one-stop-shop for hardware, software and services and eiPortal and eiDashboard can be rebranded in accordance with the ESCO's corporate identity. This has enabled Cofely Services to consolidate its energy management services in Belgium, while the 'real time' element of the eiDashboard means the company is able to work more effectively with its maintenance team to quickly locate and solve any incidents that arise at specific sites or assets. The platform's intuitive reporting and benchmarking capabilities also means Cofely Services can suggest new ways for customers to realize efficiencies and keep their energy-saving targets on track."
