“As part of SmartBear’s core strategy this past year, we positioned the company to collaborate rather than compete with hundreds of software vendors including server data vendors, ALM tool vendors, agile tool vendors and others,” said Joe Krivickas, CEO at SmartBear. “Now, SmartBear is ready to execute and form strategic partnerships to further deploy our software quality tools around the world. I am delighted that David Yaches has joined our team in corporate development to execute our strategic partner initiatives in the new year.”
While at Innovation Advisors, David successfully advised many organizations on transaction sales, including the high profile sales of BeyondTrust Corporation to Symark International, Wavemaker Software to VMware and Sigaba to Proofpoint. Prior to IA, David was an M&A Analyst with Broadview International, a global mergers and acquisitions investment bank focused on the IT, media and communications sectors. During his career, he has developed a particular expertise in IT infrastructure software, cloud computing and IT services. David has a bachelor’s degree in international relations from the University of Pennsylvania.
“Joining SmartBear at such an important point in the company’s and market growth plans is a tremendous opportunity,” said David Yaches. “With my background and expertise in enterprise and infrastructure software and IT services, I am excited to focus on forging critical partnerships and alliances to ensure SmartBear is the leader in key development communities.”
As a member of the SmartBear Management Group (SMG), David is focused on strategic alliances and key business initiatives to expand SmartBear's revenue growth and value.
