DocMagic, Inc., a leading provider of fully-compliant loan document preparation and delivery solutions for the mortgage industry, has added a social media component to its company marketing and will use a gamification strategy to quickly build a following on Facebook. Each Facebook user to like the company’s page can “Vote for DocMagic” and be automatically entered into a contest that will see one lucky winner and a guest win an expense-paid trip to Washington, D.C.
“This is a fun way to introduce our customers to our Facebook page,” said Dominic Iannitti, CEO of DocMagic. “More of our customers are using online social networks to share ideas and information and so it was important that we also extend into that communication channel. Gamification strategies are widely used in other industries to attract and interact with target markets. However, the rewards for playing their games are usually nothing to write home about. Our game is significantly different in that area.”
The Grand Prize is one trip for two to Washington D.C. for 4 days and 3 nights, including airfare, hotel, tour of the Capital and more! The first 200 voters in the contest will receive “Presidential Doc” bunny mascots.
Iannitti said that the “Vote for DocMagic” promotion was a great way to share excitement with the company’s social media followers. He said this contest would be the first of many, but that the firm’s Facebook page would also share news, event information, product information and personal glimpses into the lives of the people who work at DocMagic. In the near future, the page will be updated with historical information from the firm’s 25-year history in the business.
The DocMagic “Vote for DocMagic” Sweepstakes is restricted to mortgage lenders, mortgage lending professionals and others from the mortgage lending industry who are legal residents of the United States and the District of Columbia (excluding residents of New York, Florida, Rhode Island and Puerto Rico), and who are 21 years or older at the time of entry. Players can only enter once.
The voting booth closes and no additional entries for the contest will be accepted after December 31, 2012. DocMagic will notify the winner on or about January 9, 2013 and travel must be booked 60 days in advance and completed by December 31, 2013. The contest is subject to Official Rules accessible via the company’s Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/docmagicinc.
