BEVERLY HILLS, Calif., Dec. 6, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The Rodeo Drive Committee and the City of Beverly Hills inducted legendary Italian jeweler Bulgari into the Rodeo Drive Walk of Style® on December 5, 2012 on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills. Bulgari Vice Chairman and third generation family member Nicola Bulgari accepted the award. The on-going award, inaugurated in 2003, honors style legends for their contributions to the worlds of fashion and entertainment.

Bulgari was the twentieth recipient of the coveted award. Nicola Bulgari was also recognized with a bronze plaque featuring his signature and quote, "Style is an everlasting impression and jewelry is a passion that is passed through generations." The plaque will be permanently embedded into the sidewalk of the famous street.
Drew Barrymore presented the award to Mr. Bulgari. Other celebrity guests included, Kate Walsh, Ashley Madekwe, Cat Deeley, Lydia Hearst, Natalie Zea, Christa B. Allen, Bella Heathcote, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Anne V, Brad Goreski, George Kotsiopoulos, and many others from the fashion and entertainment communities.
Guest arrived on Rodeo Drive and joined the festivities inside the transformed Bulgari boutique, which was draped in black and showcased BVLGARI jewelry throughout the space.
The House of Bulgari has a rich and storied history with the entertainment industry. In the last decade, Bulgari has appeared in such films as Mission Impossible II, The Holiday, Iron Man, and Woody Allen's latest To Rome With Love, to name a few. Bulgari has starred in more than 40 films and graced red carpets from major awards programs, such as the Academy Awards® and Golden Globes, to international film festivals from Cannes to Venice.
Bulgari joins previous Rodeo Drive Walk of Style® honorees Diana Vreeland, Missoni, Iman, Fred Hayman, Princess Grace (Kelly) of Monaco, Cartier, Valentino Garavani, Manolo Blahnik, James Galanos, Gianni and Donatella Versace, Salvatore Ferragamo, Edith Head, James Acheson, Milena Canonero, Herb Ritts, Mario Testino and Tom Ford. Giorgio Armani was the first recipient in 2003. Honorees are selected by an independent committee comprised of media, celebrities, past honorees and academics in the worlds of fashion and entertainment.
Created by the late sculptor Robert Graham and standing 14-feet tall at the intersection of Rodeo Drive and Dayton Way in front of Two Rodeo, "Torso" serves as the symbol for the Rodeo Drive Walk of Style®.
