MAHWAH, N.J., Dec. 5, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Sharp Imaging and Information Company of America (SIICA), a division of Sharp Electronics Corporation, today announced the release of SDSS Pro, the latest addition to its family of Sharp Digital Signage Software (SDSS) products. SDSS Pro is designed to meet the needs of large networks with a new interface capable of managing up to 1,000 screens and distributing to remote screens without fixed IP addresses.
"We are dedicated to providing high quality, advanced technologies, which allow Sharp professional display dealers and distributors to better grow their businesses and serve their customers," said Mike Marusic, Senior Vice President, Marketing and Business Solutions Group, Sharp Imaging and Information Company of America. "This latest addition to the SDSS product family is a great enhancement to any Sharp digital display system and allows for a greater range of flexibility in managing large networks."
SDSS Pro joins the product family which includes SDSS Stand Alone, SDSS Network and SDSS Viewer. The Stand Alone version allows users to create programs, timetables and schedules for distribution on the same PC or via USB, while the Network version allows for distribution via network for up to 100 screens. If distributing to different PCs, the Viewer is required at each target PC.
