FundedByMe lance le crowdsourcing (financement collectif) de capitaux propres et lève plus de 3 millions SEK en 40 jours

Plus tôt cet automne, FundedByMe a discrètement commencé à tester sa plateforme de capitaux propres collectifs. Seulement 40 jours plus tard, la société a décidé de se détourner du crowdfunding classique pour se focaliser sur le crowdfunding de capitaux propres. Ce faisant, FundedByMe souhaite s'engager auprès de startups en phase initiale en fournissant aux entrepreneurs tous les outils nécessaires pour gérer des campagnes de collecte de fonds et une grande quantité d'actionnaires en un simple clic. La société remet maintenant en question les anciennes méthodes de financement, permettant ainsi à n'importe quelle startup de collecter des fonds.

La frustration de devoir fermer une entreprise pour une question de carences financières est la raison pour laquelle FundedByMe a démarré ses activités et est devenue la première plateforme de crownfunding de Suède. Daniel Daboczy et Arno Smit ont fondé FundedByMe en 2010 et demeurent la force motrice d'une société complètement engagée dans la révolution du crowdfunding et ayant attiré plus de 7 500 individus au cours des 18 derniers mois.

En septembre, l'équipe a lancé sa première campagne de collecte de fonds propres, dans le cadre de laquelle les investisseurs obtiennent une partie de la société et ont la possibilité de s'impliquer activement dans l'avenir de celle-ci. Cette méthode de financement remet en question les anciennes méthodes où les investissements dans des sociétés étaient traditionnellement réservés aux investisseurs providentiels, banques et capitalistes (de risque).

Une startup soumet son idée lors de ce que l'on appelle un pré-tour sur la plateforme FundedByMe, ceci afin de tester la valorisation, le terrain et la température du marché. Après avoir eu la possibilité d'ajuster des parties de la campagne, et une fois celle-ci bien mise en avant, une société passe en tour ouvert. Après 40 jours de tours ouverts, trois sociétés, y compris FundedByMe elle-même, ont levé bien plus de 3 millions de couronnes suédoises.

Virtuous Vodka, l'une des deux autres sociétés à mener une campagne réussie sur la plateforme, a collecté plus de 75 % de son objectif (1 million SEK) en un mois et est tenue de clore son tour prochainement.

FundedByMe se réjouit de l'attention que reçoivent l'industrie et la société. Il ne manque pas de startups, mais FundedByMe continue de communiquer clairement le fait que l'exécution réussie d'une campagne de crowdfunding (de fonds propres) requiert beaucoup de travail.
