Les modules Upsolar se démarquent grâce à leurs performances sur le long terme

Upsolar, l’un des principaux fournisseurs internationaux de modules solaires photovoltaïques, a annoncé aujourd'hui que sa gamme de produits avait démontré une résistance exceptionnelle à la dégradation induite par le potentiel (PID) selon les spécifications établies par l'IEC (Commission électrotechnique internationale). Les tests rigoureux des modules menés par l'ICIM (Institut de certification industrielle pour la mécanique), organisme de certification indépendant basé en Italie, n'ont révélé qu'un impact minimal sur les performances dans des conditions extrêmes.

Conçue pour analyser les performances des modules après une utilisation prolongée, l'évaluation PID consiste à soumettre les modules PV à une humidité importante, des niveaux de température élevés et de fortes tensions. Au terme d'une période d'évaluation, les produits sont analysés en termes de rendement et de durabilité. L'imagerie par électroluminescence (EL) est également utilisée pour identifier les défauts ayant un impact potentiellement négatif sur les performances des modules.

Les tests PID appliqués aux modules Upsolar ont été conduits selon les spécifications IEC 62804 Ed. 1.0, qui font partie des normes les plus strictes de l'industrie. Sur une période de 96 heures, les modules ont été soumis à un taux d'humidité de 85 %, à des températures dépassant 60°C et à une tension appliquée de 1 000 V. Les performances des produits ont dépassé de façon significative le seuil défini par les paramètres de l'IEC, indiquant une réussite indéniable.
