Gute Noten für die Langzeitleistung der Upsolar-Module

Upsolar, ein führender internationaler Hersteller von PV-Modulen, gab heute bekannt, dass sein Produktsortiment eine ausgezeichnete Beständigkeit bei der spannungsinduzierten Degradation (PID) gemäß den Spezifikationen der Internationalen Elektrotechnischen Kommission (IEC) aufweist. Ein strenger Modultest durch das Institute of Industrial Certification for Mechanics (ICIM), einer unabhängigen Prüfstelle in Italien, belegt, dass selbst unter extremen Bedingungen nur minimale Leistungseinschränkungen zu verzeichnen sind.

Der PID-Test dient zur Feststellung der Modulleistung bei Langzeitbetrieb und bewertet die PV-Module unter Extrembedingungen, wie starker Luftfeuchtigkeit, hohen Temperaturen und Spannungsbeanspruchungen. Nach der Testphase wurden Leistung und Beständigkeit der Produkte geprüft. Außerdem wurde eine Elektrolumineszenzmessung (EL) durchgeführt, um Schäden zu erfassen, die negative Auswirkungen auf die Modulleistung haben könnten.

Die PID-Tests der Module von Upsolar erfolgten gemäß den Spezifikationen von IEC 62804 Ed. 1.0, die zu den strengsten Industriestandards zählen. 96 Stunden lang waren die Module einer Luftfeuchtigkeit von 85 % bei Temperaturen über 60 °C und einer Spannung von 1.000 V ausgesetzt. Die Produktleistungen überschritten die von der IEC-Spezifikation vorgegebenen Mindestwerte deutlich, so dass die Module beim Test klar überzeugten.
