OTTAWA, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 11/27/12 -- Their Excellencies the Right Honourable David Johnston, Governor General of Canada, and Mrs. Sharon Johnston will meet with His Excellency Enrique Pena Nieto, President-elect of the United Mexican States, and Mrs. Angelica Rivera de Pena, at Rideau Hall, on Wednesday, November 28, 2012, at 9:15 a.m.
On the eve of his departure for a visit to Mexico, the Governor General will meet the President-elect. During his visit, he will represent Canada on the occasion of the inauguration of the new President. For more information about the Governor General's visit to the United Mexican States, from November 30 to December 2, 2012, visit www.gg.ca.
There will be a photo opportunity at the beginning of the meeting. Accredited media with the Parliamentary Press Gallery must confirm their attendance in advance with the Rideau Hall Press Office, and are asked to arrive at the Princess Anne Entrance no later than 9 a.m.
