Leading South African CPA firm Selects Deltek Maconomy to Accelerate its Growth

Deltek, Inc., the leading global provider of enterprise software and information solutions for professional services firms and government contractors, today announced that the rapidly growing South African CPA firm SizweNtsalubaGobodo has chosen Deltek’s purpose-built ERP solution Deltek Maconomy to accelerate its growth. SizweNtsalubaGobodo will use Deltek Maconomy to improve how the company manages its resources, projects, and organization as a whole – delivering the unified management platform it needs to accelerate its growth.

SizweNtsalubaGobodo is currently the 5th largest CPA firm in South Africa and is one of the fastest growing Audit firms in South Africa, with over 1,000 staff in multiple offices around the country. SizweNtsalubaGobodo provides services to both public and private sector clients including those listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange.

SizweNtsalubaGobodo needed a system that was built for its strategy of managing the company and all of its projects as one unified organization. Deltek Maconomy will enable the company to integrate and manage the key functional elements of its organization, specifically financial management, project management, resource management and time collection, while providing more insight into business performance through real-time reporting. By automating its organization, the CPA firm will simplify revenue recognition, WIP reporting, and time-based costing and ultimately create improved visibility into project profitability that will guide what types of engagements the company will pursue in the future.

“As we progressed through the software evaluation process, it quickly became obvious that Deltek was the right solution provider for us because we needed an ERP system that is tailored to the Tax and Audit industry and can accelerate our fast growth strategy. With Deltek Maconomy, we now have one, single system that provides real-time visibility into the performance of our projects and engagements across the entire organization. The intelligence Deltek Maconomy delivers will enable us to run our business better and make more informed decisions about how we want to grow our organization. It is also a game-changer that Deltek Maconomy will be used widely across our company, driving efficiencies across multiple departments,” said Donovan Simpson, CFO, SizweNtsalubaGobodo.

“Deltek Maconomy was built to automate the critical financial management processes of CPA firms to deliver information on the profitability of all resources, projects, and the company as a whole. To make smarter decisions about how to run its business, SizweNtsalubaGobodo turned to Deltek Maconomy for one complete view into the performance of its business. We are proud to be able to add one of the fastest growing CPA firms in South Africa to our growing list of clients in this vertical market and look forward to partnering with them as they continue to grow their business,” said Claus Thorsgaard, EVP and General Manager, Professional Services for Deltek.

Web Real-Time Communication APIs have quickly revolutionized what browsers are capable of. In addition to video and audio streams, we can now bi-directionally send arbitrary data over WebRTC's PeerConnection Data Channels. With the advent of Progressive Web Apps and new hardware APIs such as WebBluetooh and WebUSB, we can finally enable users to stitch together the Internet of Things directly from their browsers while communicating privately and securely in a decentralized way.

DevOps is often described as a combination of technology and culture. Without both, DevOps isn't complete. However, applying the culture to outdated technology is a recipe for disaster; as response times grow and connections between teams are delayed by technology, the culture will die. A Nutanix Enterprise Cloud has many benefits that provide the needed base for a true DevOps paradigm.
