Apple claims six more Samsung products, including the Galaxy Note II, infringe eight of its patents and wants to add them to its other California suit against the Korean giant, the one that doesn't go to trial until March of 2014.

Its first California suit against Samsung resulted in a jury verdict awarding it $1.05 billion in damages.

The decision will be reviewed by presiding District Court Judge Lucy Koh on December 6. She could ban the Samsung products that were found to infringe or throw the verdict out. Since they are older products, Samsung's biggest risk is to its pride and reputation.

The other widgets Apple wants added to the suit it filed in February are Samsung's flagship Galaxy S III as well as its Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system; the Galaxy Tab 8.9 Wi-Fi model; the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1; the Rugby Pr;, and the Galaxy S III Mini according to a court filing Friday.

Apple said it "acted quickly and diligently to determine that these newly released products do infringe many of the same claims already asserted by Apple" and if doesn't move now it'll have to file still another lawsuit.

The suit originally named the Galaxy Nexus and roughly 20 other products.

The court let Samsung add the iPhone 5, iPad mini, fourth-generation iPad and fifth-generation iPod touch to its counterclaims on November 15.

Egging Apple on is the fact that Samsung now dominates the smartphone market with a 31% share, up eight points year-over-year, to Apple's second-place 15%, up a point, according to IDC.

Samsung claimed Monday that it sold more than five million Galaxy Note II phablets globally in the two months the 5.5-inch widget's been out. It moved 20 million Galaxy S3 phone in the first 100 days after launch.
