Intercede, the producer of MyID®, a world-leader in identity and credential management systems, today announced Government Security News (GSN) has named Intercede MyID identity management platform as a finalist in the category of “Best Integrated System for HSPD 12 / FIPS 201 Compliance,” for GSN’s annual Homeland Security Awards.

Intercede’s MyID® identity management platform is a commercial off-the-shelf identity and credential management system (IDCMS), built on a secure workflow platform. It enables the creation of trusted digital identities for employees and citizens on devices such as smart cards, smartphones and tablets, to protect intellectual property, physical assets and digital content. MyID supports several standards, including personal identity verification (PIV), PIV-I, commercial identity verification (CIV) or international civil aviation organization (ICAO) used by corporate and government customers worldwide to issue trusted credentials to more than five million people.

According to the outlet, finalists were selected by a panel of objective judges. Winners will be announced and celebrated at a gala dinner at the Washington, D.C.
