Deltek, Inc., the leading global provider of enterprise software and information solutions for government contractors and professional services firms, recently announced that it made this year’s InformationWeek 500, an annual listing of the nation’s most innovative users of business technology. The annual list was revealed at a gala awards ceremony at the exclusive InformationWeek 500 Conference which took place at the St. Regis Monarch Beach Resort, Dana Point, CA.
Deltek debuted on the list at #192, amongst several of its customers including BAE Systems (#193), QinetiQ North America (#172) and Raytheon (#150). The InformationWeek 500 rankings are unique among corporate rankings as they spotlight the power of innovation in IT, rather than simply identifying the biggest IT spenders. This award is a testament to Deltek’s continued investment in technology and business improvements both internally and in its product portfolio.
“At Deltek, technology is what threads our business together – we rely on innovation and speed in our systems and solutions. In recognizing this, we’ve made the necessary investments and found innovative ways to support our customers and employees – no matter where in the world they are located,” said Deb Fitzgerald, Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Deltek. “We are honored to be part of InformationWeek’s list, amongst some of the nation’s most talented IT teams.”
“The InformationWeek 500 has recognized the most innovative users of business technology for 24 years, and this year’s innovations were particularly impressive,” said InformationWeek Editor In Chief Rob Preston. “What the editors looked for are unconventional approaches – new technologies, new models, new ways of grabbing business opportunities and solving complex business problems with IT.”
InformationWeek identifies and honors the nation's most innovative users of information technology with its annual 500 listing, and also tracks the technology, strategies, investments, and administrative practices of America’s best-known companies. Past overall winners include PACCAR Inc., The Vanguard Group, CME Group, National Semiconductor, Con-Way, and Principal Financial Group.
