WASHINGTON, Nov. 14, 2012 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Sometimes people in sports do things that make me scratch my head.

For some reason, the Los Angeles Lakers decided to hire Mike D'Antoni over Phil Jackson to coach their team.  I mean, never mind that Jackson is the second greatest coach of all time with 11 titles (Red Auerbach is the greatest).  Jackson knows the Lakers personnel, and those players love and respect him.

D'Antoni?  This is the same dude that was run out of New York.  He is also allergic to defense, which will not set well with Kobe Bryant.  Oh yeah, D'Antoni has ZERO championships. 

Why did the Lakers make such a move?  Is vice-president Jim Buss' ego that out of control?  Does he still hate Jackson that much?
