Cloud Expo 2011 New York $800 Savings here!
Much of cloud computing technology addresses the physical infrastructure and other issues such as elasticity. What has not been well defined is what cloud computing will look like to the end user. Users connecting to the cloud will expect the same organizing theme of a traditional desktop to manage and access cloud resources. While Windows has been the dominant desktop for the PC and laptop era, cloud computing needs a desktop capable of servicing the rapidly growing 'unmanaged device' market. These devices (iPads, Slates, smartphones, netbooks, etc.) will not all have Windows. They will, however, have a browser.
In his session at the 8th International Cloud Expo, Rick German, Co-founder, CEO and Chief Technology Officer of Stoneware, Inc., will discuss how Stoneware's sole focus is to deliver private cloud services into a desktop built inside a web browser.
