"We are extremely proud to be positioned as a Challenger within Gartner's Cloud Infrastructure as a Service and Web Hosting Magic Quadrant," said R. Brooks Borcherding, NaviSite's President and Chief Executive Officer. "We consider this strong recognition of our strategy, and our ability to deliver best-in-class cloud services. We are leading the way in innovation, and have proven to be extremely flexible, dynamic and responsive in meeting customer requirements, as demonstrated by our track record of exceeding customer expectations."

NaviSite a provider of enterprise-class hosting, managed application, managed messaging and managed cloud services, announced on Monday that it has been positioned as a Challenger in Gartner, Inc.'s 2010 Cloud Infrastructure as a Service and Web Hosting Magic Quadrant report.1
NaviSite secured a coveted position in the Challenger quadrant based on its completeness of vision and ability to execute. Gartner Magic Quadrants provide a snapshot of how vendors perform in a market segment with the goal of helping end users make better informed decisions about companies they may be looking to partner with, or whose services or products they may want to purchase.
Since launching its Cloud Managed Services in June 2010, NaviSite has added 22 new enterprise cloud computing customers, and announced one of the first customers to migrate mission critical applications to the cloud (DAI Selects NaviSite for Oracle Financial Applications in the Cloud). NaviSite has also announced AppleR iPad support, as well as Role-Based Access Control, Airlock, and Dynamic Resource Instrumentation for improved cloud management, flexibility, security and control. NaviSite also recently launched NaviSite TestDev Cloud, a cloud-based Development and Testing Solution.
