Why U.S. Military Families Overseas Turn to The Military Concierge Company™

San Angelo, TX, March 31, 2010 --(PR.com)-- The Military Concierge Company is delighted to announce the launch of the Concierge Quickfinder™, the company’s innovative online referral system for restaurants, nightlife, shopping, service, entertainment and lifestyle service providers located near U.S. military installations in Europe.

The Military Concierge Company started life in Grafenwoehr, Germany in 2008 as 92655 Concierge, providing one-stop concierge-style services to the military communities in Grafenwoehr and Vilseck. The company has since expanded to offer a full spectrum of concierge services and lifestyle support for members stationed across Germany and all over Europe.

The Military Concierge Company is the only concierge company worldwide that exclusively serves a military clientele. “Our Relationships team, comprised of military spouses who have lived all over the world, is always actively researching the best restaurants, bars / clubs and services located near U.S. military installations overseas, getting feedback from members on companies they have had good experiences with and those that are popular with the U.S. military community,” says Louise Wayham, Founder & CEO of The Military Concierge Company.

“We started off two years ago servicing the needs of military families in Grafenwoehr and requests for assistance soon started pouring in from all over Europe, as well as from the U.S. We’ve also received keen interest from contracting firms coming into Germany for special projects and needing a hand on the ground before arrival, for things like securing accommodation, long-term car rental and reliable airport shuttle services,” says Wayham.

“In response to that, we launched a corporate service, Concierge for Contractors, which specifically caters to the needs of contractors and contracting firms. We essentially work to ensure that companies are getting the biggest bang for their buck and have reliable support making all the necessary arrangements before they even touch down in Europe.”

“From the beginning, the response to our business and the demand from American soldiers, families and contractors stationed overseas for concierge services and support has been phenomenal,” says Wayham, who is the British wife of a service member from San Angelo, Texas.

“We started producing Lifestyle and Entertainment Guides in the spring of 2009 and they were received with huge enthusiasm from people who were frustrated with the lack of good information – in English – on things to do, restaurants to try, events to go to and service providers to call upon."

"To meet the demand for quality lifestyle information and easy-access referrals, we launched the Concierge Quickfinder™, which allows our registered members to access our recommended vendor and partner lists with ease and convenience – anything and everything from Restaurant, Nightlife and Shopping Guides to Entertainment Guides, featuring major concerts and festivals as well as more local markets and events.”

The Quickfinder features a Concierge for Kids section, as well as tried and tested Spas & Salons, and convenient listings of hotels and resorts situated in close proximity to military installations. The Quickfinder also allows for door-to-door directions and members can leave their personal reviews by Connecting with Facebook, in order to share their experiences with other members of the military community. If they can’t find what they’re looking for on the Concierge Quickfinder™, they submit a request for concierge assistance and can rest assured that a Relationships Team Member will either track down a referral or service a request from start to finish.

Wayham adds that while the company primarily serves members living in Europe, “We regularly receive requests from soldiers and families in the States, as well as from downrange, for things like flower, cake and gift delivery, and there is always a lot of interest from military families who’ve just received orders to PCS to Europe and contact us for a heads up on what they can expect and how best we can help them settle in once they get here.”

She explains, “The day to day challenges faced by military families are unique and because we’re all military wives ourselves, we get it – we’ve been there, and we know where our clients are coming from. We know how hard it can be to find yourself in a foreign country where you don’t speak the language and you don’t know a soul. The simplest task can become very stressful very quickly. In a nutshell, we provide stress-free, convenient support to the military household and a very personal approach to helping them take care of their everyday business.”

The Military Concierge Company is always interested in partnering with European and American companies that share a commitment to providing military clients with excellent customer service, efficient turnaround times, unparalleled convenience, and importantly, great value for money. Within the coming year, The Military Concierge Company will expand the Concierge Quickfinder™ to provide guides and services for military installations in England, Italy, Turkey, Belgium and Seoul; and partnerships are already in place to establish a firm presence in and around key military installations in the United States and Hawaii.
