Global 360 Appoints Rob Glenn Senior Vice President of International Sales and Services

Process- and Document Management Leader Expands International Sales and Service Operations

LONDON – SEPTEMBER 16, 2009 – Leading Process and Document Management solutions provider Global 360 today announced it has further bolstered its European operations with the promotion of Rob Glenn to senior vice president of international sales and services. Based in the company’s newly expanded London offices, Glenn will be tasked with bringing the same level of success to Global 360’s operations in Asia Pacific and other emerging markets as he has had leading Global 360’s EMEA sales and service operations.
In its last fiscal year, Global 360’s European operations grew software revenues by more than 50 percent as customers embraced the company’s product strategy, including the company’s new persona-based approach, which addresses the unique tasks, tools and views of the specific personas that are critical to the success of any BPM initiative. The company’s revenues from its European operations now represent approximately 25 percent of worldwide revenue. Staff in Global 360’s London offices has grown 25% in the same period, with overall European staff growing 15%.

“As the EMEA market starts showing signs of process maturity and faces a difficult economic climate, customers that have been using BPM for years are looking for news ways to drive efficiencies and make improvements to the bottom line,” noted Glenn. “Our goal is to work with them to make that happen.”

“Growth across global markets is a top priority for Global 360,” said Global 360 president and CEO David Mitchell. “As we continue to expand in key regions, Rob’s role in driving this growth is critical, and his previous success in building our customer base in EMEA makes him perfectly suited for the job.”

In response to the needs of all users of a BPM System, Global 360 in June announced Process360 10.0, the industry’s first BPM suite based on its Persona-based BPM approach and the first to deliver out-of-the-box applications that address the unique needs of all people in a process. The applications speed the development, deployment and adoption of process management systems, which leads to faster time to market and return on investment (ROI).

While the focus and objectives of IoT initiatives are many and diverse, they all share a few common attributes, and one of those is the network. Commonly, that network includes the Internet, over which there isn't any real control for performance and availability. Or is there? The current state of the art for Big Data analytics, as applied to network telemetry, offers new opportunities for improving and assuring operational integrity. In his session at @ThingsExpo, Jim Frey, Vice President of S...

The Jevons Paradox suggests that when technological advances increase efficiency of a resource, it results in an overall increase in consumption. Writing on the increased use of coal as a result of technological improvements, 19th-century economist William Stanley Jevons found that these improvements led to the development of new ways to utilize coal. In his session at 19th Cloud Expo, Mark Thiele, Chief Strategy Officer for Apcera, compared the Jevons Paradox to modern-day enterprise IT, examin...
